i was there for about 2+ hours or so.
i got an email the day before saying it was going to start at 730am so i was there till 130 or so....
the house is going just one block south and another block west, the NYtimes does a great job explaining the process in this interactive piece here:

once you are there click the next button and wait for the animation.
