this this a shot of "el puerto" a small place in the north east coast of the dominican republic... i went photograph a small community of fishermen and amongst many things i learned just by being there, one thing really stuck when someone complained about how unusually cold the water was, so cold for them that they had to sail back earlier than usual. lets not forget that, this is in the Caribbean.

I can tell by the way he's holding himself those fish are heavy. what a catch and what a wonderful image. that water is so beautiful.

Cool photo of these fishermen. Your story also really adds to this phot. Cold water in the caribbean... try the north-sea in winter times.. brrrrr.
