so as the new york times reported today... trips for the holidays were generally smooth. for me it was more than smooth, we got 30 minutes ahead of schedule to the airport in santo domingo.
the kid in the photo is a dulcero, someone who sells sweets/candies at the transit stops and approaches the cars trying to sell the goods. this was taken today while crossing santo domingo... the kid was approaching my window and i was already waiting to snap him... sweet. and talking about sweet, for those curious the cream color thing you see in the bottom is coconut candy... dulce de coco.
