this shot was taken yesterday while the craziness of the ing ny marathon was happening.... i happened to be near by where some of the runners were passing at Columbus circle and shot couple of photos but no luck with those... so i thought i post this one instead which i like very much.

the texture of the grass and the pattern of the dress are such nice contrasts to her beautiful face. I really like it in black and white. awesome!

I love the contrast of the girl being so glam and the dark, furry grass. Un peu inquiétant et inattendu...j'adore.

lovely. The diagonals of her dress fabric correspond wonderfully to her diagonal placement within the frame, seductively luring my eyes to her face and hands. Terrific textural contrast between the grass and everything else as well. BW was the way to go. this is a winner!
