these were taken at time square... duhhh. funny though, i was walking around time square and there were 3 dudes with giants canon dslrs and they were screaming to some police officer to call their attention and asking for specific poses for the dudes to photograph the cops. Somebody is going to jail tonight, was what came to my mind. but nope, the cops just were ignoring the dudes and sort of posing for them. sooo... i got close to one of the cops and asked if it was legal to take photos of them, "that's what we are here for, do you see me arresting them?" was the cop's response to me. I got to admit i was a bit shocked at his response and more with his attitude... but then i started to notice that all the police officers around (girls and guys) seemed a bit to perfect looking. the girls cops were totaly "hot" opps, I mean they were good looking and the guys where all, unusually handsome. then i thought, ummm interesting.... time square is a place that thousands of photos are taken on a daily basis, dont you think the nypd would want to showcase their finests?

each of these portraits could have stood on their own. natural, great lighting, expressive...dang, you could have stretched this out for two postings, but you went for one.
