new york city's transportation systems (with all its flaws ) is quite amazing. I hardly ever take the buses, i would say in a year i would take the most 10 buses rides on average. but when i do take the bus or when am standing staring at a bus it is so obvious that buses are the number one choice for seniors and people with physical limitation. I know your going like "duhhh" but little things like this actually do stick on your head when you first become aware of it. I am sure not many people do actually acknowledge this and do not realize that above ground transportation has a whole set of visual vocabulary totally different from the subways.

I must add that the buses also work for the wimps like "some-people" i know that think riding a subway where you have to make one transfer is to complicated of a task for them. of course then there are the up-tight-ones who never take the subways because they are too good for it... damm, i had a good start writing this and i see am getting nasty. :)
