today there were two guys in the subway (not this person in the image) but an African american dude who was preaching was being quite loud... too loud i would say, as he started banging the sealing of the subway card very hard. then right there this other dude started shouting at him "jesus christ is telling you to shut up", "am trying to read here" ha, you see... i that point is when i regret i dont have a camera with me. luckily it was all verbal... no physical interaction at all.
but hey, dont get the wrong impression about new york... we are very nice people with a very strong temper... fare to say... the dude in this photo didn't mind me pointing the camera at him... so thats always nice isn't it?

wow. that guy has a big headset. > you captured NYC life as i remember it: everyone tuning out the other for survival sake. good shot. (don't get me wrong...I LOVE NY and love your blog, too.)

Great looking social portrait Amin. The richness of the darer hues really make an impression in this image.

THIS IS WHAT I MISS ABOUT NYC. IN TORONTO IT'S, "SIR, YOU JUST spilled your timmies (Tim Horton's coffee) on my new suede shoes, but that's ok because I own another pair!"
OK, maybe not that pathetic.
